Canterbury, Prepare to March!
Clear your diaries for 23 March for the Put It To The People march to make the call for a People’s Vote too loud to ignore.
Just six days before the Government hopes to rip Britain out of the EU, hundreds of thousands of people from across the UK will march on Parliament offering a solution to the crisis that is paralysing Westminster and threatening our economy, our values and our future.
It will only be that big if we all turn up! At Canterbury for Europe we’ve done this a few times, so we know the drill!
We’ve always had a great turnout from Canterbury, the villages, coastal and East Kent generally. So please commit now to joining us. Start telling your friends, neighbours, family and colleagues, and start tweeting about it.
The march timing and location
The march starts at noon on Park Lane. Why not travel with Canterbury for Europe and other local groups and individuals? As usual we’ll be travelling by train, and we’ll be on the services listed below which should get you there in plenty of time:
Downloadable files are at the bottom of this page, so why not print your own poster!
Here are some useful twitter tags for stories and photos on the day: @ct4europe @EK_EuropeanMove #PeoplesVote #PutItToThePeople
We have produced local leaflets displaying the march details and train times. We are looking for volunteers to distribute these in:
We are also looking for volunteers to do commuter station leafleting. If you can help with either or both of these activities please get in touch through the usual channels or via firstname.lastname@example.org
Thank you, the Canterbury for Europe crew.
